Homecoming Dance Update
Families of North Tama 9th-12th Grade Students
I wanted to share an update on the Homecoming dance. North Tama’s Homecoming dance will be on Friday, October 4, from 9:30-11:45 p.m. This is a change from the previous years of it being held on a Saturday night.
The change to a Friday night Homecoming dance is to help encourage participation in the dance and involve more students. Attendance in the past few years at the Homecoming dance has been low, as well as students not staying for very long at the dance. We hope that by making this change, more students will be able to come to the dance after attending the football game. As many of you may have experienced, Homecoming dances traditionally were on Friday nights following the football game.
Locker room facilities will be available for students who would like to get ready for the dance at school. Students are also more than welcome to come to the dance in more casual attire. Snacks and refreshments will be served and a photographer will be available to take pictures. Our concession stand will be open as well for additional food and drink items for purchase. Tickets are $6 and will be available online only through our Bound ticketing system between September 30th and October 3rd. If you have any questions about the Bound ticketing system, please contact the Activities Director, Mr. Knaack, at 319-478-2265.
As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Go Redhawks!Mr. Howard
